The Umbrella Academy Season 2 (spoilers ahead) all leads up to the reveal of The Sparrow Academy, a rival group of superheroes who have taken the place of the Hargreeves in the altered 2019 timeline. This finale moment on the Netflix show may have come as a surprise to many viewers, but sparrow imagery was present throughout the show's 10 episodes to tease their appearance.
