"We are encouraging Danvers residents to take advantage of this event, as styrofoam is not collected with normal curbside recycling," Danvers DPW said.

Residents can bring white, rigid, expanded polystyrene (Styrofoam) such as coolers or packing blocks for the drive-thru recycling event.

Food containers such as cups and plates as well as packaging "peanuts" cannot be accepted.

Save That Stuff will collect and recycle this material. While Styrofoam can't be recycled curbside, Save That Stuff has densifiers that can process the Styrofoam for recycling.
